Summit helicopter is in the process of designing a brand new state-of-the-art maintenance work platform that will prove to be one of the lightest, strongest, and safest in the industry. Summit has recently started the expansion of its powerline division in include a full line of new services to the utility industry. Please check back for updates. 

June, 2007
Summit is currently working with Southern Cal-Edison to restore power to Catalina Island after a devastating wildfire that nearly consumed more than 4000 acres or six square miles in May 2007. Most of the 76-square-mile island is owned by a land conservancy, home to wildlife including the Catalina Island fox, North American bison and bald eagle.  Summit had its S58T and one of its MD500 aircraft deployed on the project. <click here for photos.>

Summer 2007
Summit is currently in the process of developing and finalizing a full line of new services to serve the utility industry. A main part of our core services will be designed around our high-altitude MD530F, and S58T 'Heavy Lift' aircraft. Summit currently offers a wide array of patrol, inspection, preventative maintenance, and construction services to the industry..
